In my long tenure as a member, I've seen people come and go. And I cannot help but notice similarities and patterns among them. So I thought of grouping them according to their so-called presence in the organization. Why the title? Cos I'm sure, no matter your organization, you have these people in there too. Feel free to disagree though. *wink*
ON DUTY
ON DUTY
They do their part, no doubt, but they don't usually stay too long for bonding moments.
"Okay na ba? Mauna na ako ha? Kasi ____."
"Okay na ba? Mauna na ako ha? Kasi ____."
FAIR-WEATHER FELLA
Workshops, no. Activities, no. Meetings, no. Booze, be right there. Party, hell yeah! And they'd be like, "I love *insert organization here*!"
FREELANCER
FREELANCER
Now you see them, poof, now you don't. They come and go as they will. Pasulpot-sulpot. Padaan-daan. Pakamay-kamay.
"Uy! Musta?" *handshake* Aaaand they're gone.
THE MOST 'PROMISING'
"Sure, pupunta ako." Nah. Asa ka pa.
HIDE-AND-SEEKer
They're pretty good at hiding from you when you need them. They're better at finding you when they need something. Notes? Old exams? Assignments? Kennections?
HARD-CORE
Such clingy people they are. They consider the organization their home and its members their family. Through victories and financial setbacks. "Uy! Musta?" *handshake* Aaaand they're gone.
THE MOST 'PROMISING'
"Sure, pupunta ako." Nah. Asa ka pa.
HIDE-AND-SEEKer
They're pretty good at hiding from you when you need them. They're better at finding you when they need something. Notes? Old exams? Assignments? Kennections?
HARD-CORE
"Guys, let's do our part." "Stay active!" "Love the org!"
NO CORE
They're the ones who cannot find the drive, but I believe they can be swayed given the right amount of
reason.
"Di kasi ako makasabay."
DODGER
If they could make a sharp turn, a U-turn even, when they see another member, they probably would.
Funny how we might even find ourselves being everything on the list. Under certain circumstances, that is. :))) Have I missed anything? Shaaaaare!
